Connecting Twilio Messaging with your LiveHelpNow account

I already have a Twilio number and would like to use it with my LiveHelpNow account, how do I accomplish this?

Here's how to connect Twilio number messaging service with your LiveHelpNow account to send/receive text messages for the number from within your LiveHelpNow account

Step 1

 

In the Twilio console navigate to Phone numbers→ Manage → TwiML apps

Select "Create new TwiML app"

Name the app "LiveHelpNow"

Provide the following URL in Messaging → Request URL: https://webhooks.livehelpnow.net/twilio/sms/9XgweR8M2RkBgR39VFQp

Save the app

Step 2

 

In the Twilio console navigate to Phone numbers→ Manage → Active Numbers

Select the number for which you would like to handle text messaging for out of your LiveHelpNow account

Scroll down to Messaging section

Select "TwiML app" for CONFIGURE WITH OTHER HANDLERS setting

Select "LiveHelpNow" for TWIML APP setting

Step 3

 

Contact LiveHelpNow team either by calling us at +1-877-548-3001 or by email at help@livehelpnow.com and ask to connect your Twilio messaging service with your LiveHelpNow account.

Your must provide the following information:

  1. Twilio Account SID
  2. Twilio Auth Token
  3. Twilio phone number

Your Twilio number can now be used with your LiveHelpNow account to send and receive text messages.

If you would like LiveHelpNow to also manage voice communications for this number please contact your LiveHelpNow success manager.
